Cruising around a 1991 custom party bus certainly grabs the attention of most people walking around down town Los Angeles on a hot summer day. The VICELAND bus has been paraded through heavy metropolitan cities, while stopping at all the hippest venues and festivals in town. Generating well over 10,000 miles, Turnkey DOT not only owns and operates this gem, but builds experiential marketing platforms around the bus once it is parked at the party.

Partnering with VICE Media has been a great opportunity for Turnkey DOT to make stops at some of the coolest events around the nation. With stops at destinations such as SXSW, Cochella, Art Basel & Comic-Con, the bus attracts thousands of consumers. Equipped with a DJ table, photo booth, packed fridge and couches to lounge in, everyone wants the opportunity to party on the bus and potentially meet some high-profile names.

Nathans Famous

Mobile tours can be considered our bread and butter. Partnering with Chicago based agency Intersport, The Nathan’s Famous mobile marketing tour can attest to that notion. Operating from January – October, the traveling carnival made 79 stops in 21 different states and the District of Columbia. In 2018, the tour will be starting the third year of circulation. In order to meet expectations, the program was divided into two separate tours. Each team operated customized vehicles to activate large food festivals, sporting events, corporate offices, community organizations and retail stores.

The teams set up an interactive mini carnival at each location, educating consumers on the premium taste of Nathan’s Famous hot dogs! Games were free to play and everyone walked away a winner. After each event, the set up was packed away into a box truck and gooseneck trailer then sent on the road to the next destination increasing brand affinity and awareness across the US.

Whole Foods

The Whole Foods pod is a compact box that makes an impactful impression at any event. Easily transported on a trailer, Turnkey DOT has brought the display to a variety of events around the Chicagoland area. With built-in hydraulics, this is an easy one-man job for our event managers.

Similar to a number of our clients, Whole Foods was operating this vehicle and pod on their own, but not particularly comfortable with the setup and break down. Recognizing that Turnkey DOT could save on time and efficiency, they saved themselves a lot of headache by having the pod operated under our management.

Patrick Cudahy

The Patrick Cudahy Pack-House Mobile Tour hit the road for the first time this year, covering thousands of miles in the state of Wisconsin. The wrapped sprinter van serves as an efficient vehicle for easy setup and adaptation for last minute changes to schedules and easy setup. Starting the tour in mid-June, a team of two spread the awareness of "The official Bacon of the Green Bay Packers" to 74 events in 4 months.

This tour challenged our event managers to work on short notice, interact regularly with the client and understand the brand initiatives at each event. Operating a sprinter van tour is a safe and effective way to conduct multiple turnkey events in a short period of time and spread a brand message.

Lamborghini Accademia

Tired of late deliveries and damaged assets by prior trucking companies, Lamborghini and their agency iris Worldwide reached out to Turnkey DOT to provide shipping and logistic services. We have partnered on Lamborghini’s Esperienza, Accademia and one of the largest car shows in the industry, Monterey Car Week.

For this program, we shipped loads in tractor trailers and box trucks from a fabricator in Canada to a warehouse secured in the US. Working with a luxury brand, attention to detail is vital, especially when our event managers were helping to setup at affluent homes and on pristine golf courses.
